OS X Server and jupyter server

I have OS X Server on my Mac Pro and I would like to be able to remotely access a jupyter notebook server running on it. If I turn on the web service, I can access the default web site page (on port 80). The jupyter server, by default, runs on port 8888, but when I try to connect to from another machine, (by going to https://myserver.domain.com:8888/), I am unable to reach it. Again, there is no problem with port 80. What do I need to do to get this working?
